What it can answer

Top queries	The searches bringing people to your site, with clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position.
Top pages	Which pages actually earn search traffic, and which are invisible.
Custom analysis	Any combination of query, page, country, device or date — for trends, or for finding pages competing with each other.
Index status	Whether Google has a given URL, the canonical it chose, and when it last crawled.
Sitemaps	What you have submitted, and any warnings or errors against it.

What it can access

Only Search Console, and only for reading. The single permission requested is webmasters.readonly. It cannot change anything in your Search Console, and it cannot see your email, files, or any other Google service.
Only properties you already own. You see exactly the sites your Google account is verified for — nothing more.
Your data stays yours. Each connected account is isolated; no one else using this server can reach your properties.

How your connection is stored

Your Google authorization is encrypted at rest and used only to answer requests you make.
No Search Console data is kept. Results pass straight through to whatever asked for them and are not written to disk.
You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions, which immediately cuts off this server.

Adding it to your assistant

In Quotient, go to Settings → MCP Servers → Add → Custom Server, choose OAuth, and paste this URL. Claude and other MCP clients take the same address.

You will be sent to Google to approve the connection as part of adding it, so there is no key to copy and no password to share.
